A manuscript compilation concerning the laws of France. Full title: Memoires sur les ordonnances en général, faites par ordre de Mr. Colbert, controleur général des finances, par plusieurs advocats célébres. Each volume has the half-title Ordonnances de Mr. Colbert (in v.2, Ordonnances de Monsr. Colbert). Vol. 1 is bound in quarter leather with marbled covers, very worn; v. 2 is bound in full leather with gilt on spine. The last leaf of v. 1, and the last several leaves of v. 2, are blank.
